The ExCEL Volleyball League will implement a new and improved process for building teams through Player Placement Clinics. Powered by Blocksport Volleyball Club, the ExCEL Volleyball Program offers an established coaching staff dedicated to player development for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced.

*Note: These clinics are mandatory for all players wanting to be placed on an

ExCEL Volleyball Team *Powered by Blocksport.

Placement clinics are led by Blocksport Volleyball Club coaches and are designed to provide an evaluation for each athlete so they can be placed on a team / division that is best suited for their current volleyball skill set and competitive level.

The overall goal is to have the league play experience be fair and positive for all.

Parents will select which clinic they will attend during the registration process.

Players are required to attend only one of the clinics but may choose to attend as many as they wish.

Placement Clinic Options

#1 - August 11th (Tuesday)

• 2nd - 5th Grade @ 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• 6th - 8th Grade @ 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

#2 - August 13th (Thursday)

• 2nd - 5th Grade @ 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• 6th - 8th Grade @ 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

 First Practices:  Week of August 31st

 Practice Days:  Monday - Thursday

 Schedule:  Once per week for 1 - 1.5 hrs

 First Games:  September 12th

 Game Days:  Played mostly on Saturdays (Fridays & Sundays possible)

 Schedule:  

• 8 Game Regular Season
• 1 - 2 Games per week
• Weekday games scheduled between 5 PM & 9 PM
• Weekend games scheduled between 9 AM & 6 PM
